Welcome to the world of detailed modelling with our HMS Victory wooden ship model kit. This kit is a carefully constructed scale version of the famous English ship of the line from the 18th and 19th centuries.
HMS Victory - a piece of history
HMS Victory is known for its participation in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where it served as flagship for Admiral Horatio Nelson. The ship is today a museum in Portsmouth, England, and is the only ship of the line to have survived to this day.
Model building kit and content
Our 1:72 scale HMS Victory kit provides an authentic modelling experience. The kit includes high-quality carved wood pieces, hardwood, brass and cast iron. You'll also find a small display base with a nameplate, copper cladding for the hull, and eight moulded figures, including a figure of Vice Admiral Nelson.
Build your HMS Victory
To help you in the building process, we've included a complete step-by-step video guide that you can find on our Youtube channel. You can also download a 1:1 plan of the model. Upon completion, the HMS Victory section measures 240mm in length, 345mm in height and 91mm in width.
The following is recommended for an authentic model
To make the model as true to the original as possible, we recommend that you paint it with our specific set of water-based acrylic colours. To protect the model and give it a museum-like feel, we also recommend placing it in a methacrylate urn. If you want to give the model more realism, you can also add LED lighting.
